how to delete software update

How do you delete an update? In the pass I’ve been able to go through settings>iPad storage and delete it, but now i can’t figure it out.

It is not possible to delete a system update after it has been installed. A downloaded update can only be deleted prior to being installed on the device.


A downloaded (but not yet installed) update can be deleted:

Settings > General > iPad Storage - scroll down the list of Apps until you find the update package, then delete from there.
