MacAir battery issues

HI, I have a MacAir laptop 2013 and my battery's running time has become very low. The battery icon displays that the battery needs service. I do not have access to a service center now nor I have access to an Apple shop to buy a new battery. Can I use the laptop plugged in and continue to use it or the laptop will get damaged?

any other solution?

Thank you

You can use the MacBook Air plugged in. I have a 2006 MacBook Pro without a battery installed, it runs fine connect to AC power.

Depending on where you are in the world, there may be a shipping option (in the US, Apple will send you a box you can use to ship your Mac notebook in for service).
