I need to update my imac
I have a 2011 27in iMac that is currently running OS X 10.9.5. When I go to preferences for a software update it is not giving me an option to update to the newest OS.

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and download High Sierra. It's a full-version upgrade and won't appear in the Updates list.
