HP Officejet 100 mobile printer + macOS Catalina: "Printer - waiting for printer to become available"

My printer (as above) will not print (USB or bluetooth)

USB - advises this notification "Printer - waiting for printer to become available"

Bluetooth - simply says the printer is offline.

Help?!

I am on macOS 12.1 We have an HP 7100 printer, purchased from Apple in 2019, and working wonderfully with various macOS and iOS devices, always via wifi, until today. Today, if I try to list printers in System Preferences, I am informed that "no printers are available". HP's Easy Start app finds "no devices". The HP Smart app could previously see the printer, but now says the printer is offline, even though it is powered up and ready to print. Everything looks completely normal at the printer control screen. The iMac I am sitting at can see Bonjour printers back at the office, over a VPN connection, but can't see the HP sitting across the room, which makes me wonder if Bonjour on the HP is not working. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

HP printer problem after Monterey 12.4 update Anyone with this Problem? : after installing a new HP printer my Mac think this printer is offline! Several attempts were made but neither on the IMac, nor on other Apple devices the printer could be found. Now with connecting the printer directly with the router I am able to print, but again not with the other devices. I think the Problem occured after installing update OS Monterey 12.4

HP printer offline Since I have installed Mac OS Monterey operating system on my iMac my WirelessHP DeskJet 4100 printer will not print from my Mac. The status shows the printer is offline. I have tried turning my router, computer and printer off and back on, resetting my printer system and and reinstalling the printer. None of these steps solved my problem. I am lost at what to try next.
