The CNBC live app is not working, when I go to click on “watch live” nothing happens. The device recognizes the click but it never loads. There isn’t even a loading screen.

has anyone been able to get Watch Live working again? Mine hasn't worked just as you're describing for the last 5/6 weeks, sent a note to CNBC and they just said it is being reviewed by their team and will let me know if they find a solution.
Same issue with 3rd generation. I have two emails into CNBC
I’ve heard nothing back from CNBC. And still doesn’t live stream on the Gen 3.
PS CNBC live is working for me on both my ATV 1 and 2 gen as of today!
Good to hear, that would mean that they are still supporting it and fixed the issue on their end. Although it would be a gen 2 and 3 as the 1st gen was a big silver box that never had access to CNBC.

Thanks for sharing. I'm guessing some server somewhere is down that supported the old Apple TV's and no one at CNBC cares as there aren't that many folks like us left watching it on an older Apple TV. Hope it get's fixed!
Or maybe CNBC needs to push out an updated app. Since the older Apple TV’s dont have an App Store, we cant simply access the store to redownload the latest app. The live stream works on my newer Apple TV’s.
The older models don't run apps, just preset 'channels' that are sent via server. Many providers have been dropping support for those server versions. If CNBC are still supporting it then they would need to fix the issue.
