syncing messages

Hello. I have all my devices on the same apple ID with all the settings correct for syncing messages. But what I delete on my iphone doesn't delete from my mac, laptop, or ipad. I'm stumped.

Sync iPhone and MacBook message app. When I delete messages from my iPhone, they do not automatically get deleted from my MacBook. How do I fix this issue. (since the mail app is able to fully sync on each device I suppose this is also possible for the message app).

If you have them syncing Messages using iCloud, try turning iCloud Messages syncing off, restarting, and then turn it back on.
