Is this the icon? If it is this is the Now Playing icon. To turn this feature off: On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > Wake Screen > turn off Auto-Launch Audio Apps. You can also do it in the Apple Watch except go to Settings > General > Wake Screen > turn off Auto-Launch Audio Apps.. This should make it go away.
