Please do not turn this off if you don't have a reason too. This feature is vital in helping stop the spread of COVID-19. Apple takes privacy seriously, and your location data is never shared with anyone. And, if if you do come in contact, your data, or the other person's data is never shared. Only anonymous identifiers that cannot be traced back to you.
To turn off COVID-19 contact tracing, go to Settings > Privacy > Health > and you can edit your settings there.
But, please keep this on if you can. You will be doing your communities a huge favor in keeping everyone safe.
