Parallels Desktop 3.0

I have a Macbook Air 13" with macOS Catalina version 10.15.6 installed. I have Parallels Desktop 3.0 software which I bought and istalled on my Macbook Pro 17". Can I install this on my Macbook Air or do I require later version of Parallels desktop?

Are there different versions of Parellels? I use a late 2013 Imac 27 on Catalina 10.15.7 I want to install a version of Parallels that will run on Cat 10.15.7, and work with Windows 10. Are there different versions available, or does the latest version always work? I run a MMORPG game (Elder Scrolls Online, or ESO), Been playing for years, but the next Expansion of the Game won't run on Catalina. My options are to either 1: Downgrade to a previous OS (sounds like it takes a complete wipe to reinstall an earlier system, or 2: Install a version of Parallels, and run the windows version of ESO on Windows 10 (recommended). I use this Late 2013 27" iMac, because at the time, it had the fastest video system. Any Advise? ("Get a new life" will not be considered :) ) Thanks for any Info! Jim

Running Mojave under Parallels on Catalina I have been running Catalina on a test system. Overall, it is working well for me. On my production system, I run Windows 10 via Parallels for programs I need but without a MacOS version. The latest version of Parallels is Mojave compatible. I still have a few programs under MacOS that have not been ported to 64 bit versions, but the vendors says they will be. It dawned on me that I could run Mojave under parallels for these programs. Does anyone see a snag for this solution?

Think they are up to version 16 supporting Big Sur. Suggest checking with them if version 3.0 is compatible with Catalina

Thank You for the feedback. I have requested more information from Apple on this matter and awaits their feedback.

Looking forward to Big Sur update. See it is scheduled for end of September 2020.
