So your latest update will install Covid tracking whether we want it or not? Seems to me if we made the choice not to download the app we may not want it. Is this being forced upon us? Will there be an option for update that doesn’t include this Covid tracing?
If you had read the entire description, you would have seen that you must OPT-IN to use the tracking ability. Also your state's health department must be using it. Our state is just starting the process. It will be completely anonymous. If you do not want to use it you do not have to use it.

Then tell me why it keeps trying to update my phone even tho I cancelled the update several times?
I didn’t. That’s the problem.
I keep getting notifications to start the install. It shows as an automatic install that I have to cancel each time. I don't have my phone set up to auto install updates.
but you must have had it set to auto download
