USPS Scam Text Message - 2023

I received multiple texts asking about a problem with a USPS package. I clicked on the link the first time, as I thought it was legitimate. Once I saw the scam, I exited out of the tab. I did not see anything download, and I did not enter any information. Is it possible that this scam site could steal any of my infraction by simply clicking on the link?
