Low resolution on iCloud photos

Hello

i want to start making a photo book. I’ve been accessing my iCloud on a Windows PC and going to Snapfish to make a photo book. Everything that I copy down to the windows pc and then up to Snapfish appears as low resolution. Could someone please let me know what I’m doing wrong? Or suggest a better app to make photo books from where I don’t have to copy images from iCloud to windows device? I’m based in Australia.

iPhone 7, iOS 13

Hi Photoquestions222,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having issues creating a photo book using your photos stored in iCloud on your PC. We want to make sure that you are able to work with those photos to create exactly what you need.

When you say you are accessing iCloud on your PC, are you accessing it through the iCloud folder on your device or through the iCloud website? When you upload a photo, do you get a message about the resolution using the Snapfish application? The following resource can help you with downloading the original photo:

Set up and use iCloud Photos

Specifically, the section under "Download your photos and videos."

If you continue to have issues with the resolution, we recommend that you reach out to Snapfish directly, as they may have recommendations on how to best choose photos for their products.

Hope that helps!
