glitches w/ iPhone 6s since updating to 13.7

I have some sudden glitchy things going on w/ both iphone 6S and iPad Pro since updating to 13.7 - not sure if thats the cause or not.

I back both up on my computer thru iTunes. Suddenly itunes doesnt mount either one. It no longer puts either into charging mode either. No connections have changed, still going thru a powered usb hub.

So I suddenly can't back up or charge by connecting to computer & using iTunes.

Also (and again not sure if related) I have an iRig audio interface box that flows audio from my stereo into iPad or iPhone to add music while shooting a tabletop video. Suddenly thats no longer possible. The interface may have become defective, but the timing seems suspect too.

Has anyone had these issues?

FYI - Mac Mini running Sierra.
