Hello pls200,

It sounds like your MacBook Air is restarting unexpectedly, and we want to help get this issue resolved.

Just to clarify, after the issue occurs, does your Mac display an error saying something like "Your computer was restarted because of a problem"? If so, the steps and information on the below page may be helpful:

If your Mac restarted because of a problem

If you continue to run into that issue, please be sure to check out the "Learn more" part of the above link for some additional things to check and try.

We hope that helps. Take care!

Hi

It crashed again overnight.. The Crash log (attached) still seems to show the line

"net.telestream.driver.TelestreamAudio 1.1.1"

Though now i complete removed Wirecast which added it and all files related to it. Doing a system search does not find any 'telestream' file now either.

How do I cleanly remove this from the OS any suggestions ? I have a similar issue with a NVideo driver i installed (but realised later my Macbook air doesnt really need)

Hello All,

Posting a new update. Crashes are still happening. Almost 100% when i un suspend in the morning to start work i find its crashed. Crashed while using 2 times from yesterday.

I've since cleaned up a lot of data & have more space on the device. Not 20 Gigs yet.. but 12 GB or so.. Will do more clean ups however.

The Crashlog today has a fresh error. (Different from my last post). Can you help me understand that one ?

Hi,

Yes it does say that. I have also attached the crash log in the earlier thread. This has been happening very regularly almost for 1 year now.. I never took the trouble to report it but now its become even more frequent so i decided to report it.

I have tried the things said in the article already but havent been able to self diagnose. So posted here.

You would use the uninstaller provided by the Wirecast developer. If they don't have one, perhaps their instructions.

If they don't have either, then you should not have installed it in the first place.

Kernel Extensions are placed in /Library/Extensions or /Library/StagedExtensions.

If you can't just delete it, you might have to disable System Integrity Protection (SIP).
