Using Slime/ Gel

Hey guys,

What do you think about using cleaning gel/slime to clean my laptop keyboard/ area where the screen folds ?

Cleaning Macbook Keyboard Hello, I was cleaning my macbook keyboard with 70% isopropyl alcohol. I had few hard-to-remove smudges on some keys. Basically, I folded a paper towel into a triangle and dipped one corner with the alcohol. I would wipe down the keys with that one corner. It wasn't dripping wet, but it was still wet. I'm not fully sure if I got the alcohol into the keyboard by wiping down the keys. I was just pushing down the keys to really get the smudges out. Will my MacBook be okay? Thank you for reading my question!!

Can I use a silicon based spray to soften and clear the keyboard from a spilled milk over it? I accidentally spilled a small amount of milk over the keyboard of my new macbook pro. Can I use a silicon based spray followed by a compressed air to clean it? Thanks in advance.

Unless you are addicted to Cheetos, a warm, moist cloth is all I use to periodically restore my keyboard to its original clean appearance. Using anything with chemical ingredients on your Mac is the wrong approach.
