How can I get a voice memo from my iPhone to my music?

I am trying to get a voice memo from my new iPhone XR, and onto the "Music" section of my laptop (MacBook Pro.)

"Music" used to be called "iTunes," and when it was, theses synced automatically, to a playlist it created called "voice memos". Now, I can't even find the file, except for on my phone.

Spent about 2 1/2 hours trying to accomplish this tonight before I gave up. It could be the new iPhone. It could be changing "iTunes" to "Music". I don't really know. But I know that I need "baby steps" to learn what to do in this situation.
