I've downloaded purchased apps in my iPhone, but I can't see them on my Mac. I'm pretty sure that I don't have to download them and pay for them again. Do I? I'm using the same Apple ID.

An app that runs on an iPhone will not run on a Mac. They are two different operating systems.

Some developers have two versions of their app, one for the iPhone and another for the Mac. They may (or may not) charge separately for each version.

Also, in many cases there will be an app for the iPhone but no similar app for the Mac. In many of those cases you use an internet browser (e.g., Safari) and go to the developers web site for similar functionality .
