Messages in iCloud not available as iCloud and iMessage accounts do not match

This worked but now I have a new issue.


Got a pop-up message "Messages in iCloud not available as iCloud and iMessage accounts do not match. Messages in iCloud is not available because iCloud and iMessage accounts are different."

That could be the issue. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID (your important one) on all devices. Someone else will see this thread and start adding stuff I am missing so you are in good hands. this should be able to be sorted.
