Muffled bottom mic iPhone 6

When the camera is in “selfie mode” the bottom mic is muffled. In turn it’s muffled for phone caall’s, voice memos, and audio recordings. I read the article on muffled mics. Wasn’t helpful on fixing the problem.

iPad muffled mic except in camera. so i got this iPad Air 4 around January 30 and since like june-ish the mic hasnt been working. it works perfectly on camera to record but on everything else it sounds muffled. what do i do?

Microphone My mic sounds muffled on all my downloaded apps but when I try on my camera it works perfectly fine. I have an iPhone XR what do I do?

No idea what article your read but if it didn't help then take your phone in to an authorized Apple Service Provider or an Apple store and have it looked at.
