I had the fluid/liquid warning pop up on my iphone 11 pro max- everything is working fine, however I wanted to know if there could be any rust in the internal hardware, and if so how what would I do

If you believe your iPhone is damaged you should book a free appointment at your nearest Apple retail store. They can check for water damage there.

Thank you so much- I don’t think there’s damage- It was like a drop of water that got in my lightning port but I was just worried if that was gonna mess anything up- thank you!
No problem! Try not to plug anything into your lightning port or charge your iPhone until you are sure it's dry.
