iPhone XS unlocking difficulty

My iPhone XS screen is taking 50 or more tries before it will turn on. The phone is on I can use hey Siri and hear her. I can screenshot and restart. The screen stays black until after trying for 10 minutes or more it works. Then does it again. force reset and turning off 3D Touch doesn’t help. What can I do?
