MacBook Air 2020 - Max Charging Speed

Hello,

I have a 2020 MacBook Air i7/16GB RAM/256GB SSD. I was wondering what is the maximum charging speed. I know the MacBook ships with a 30-W charger (I believe); however, can the laptop take advantage of the 61-W charger? What about an 87-W charger or even higher?

Basically, at what charging rate will the MacBook stop pulling the additional Watts?

You can safely use a higher wattage charger than the one that came with your Mac, but your Mac will not charge faster or perform differently. Basically, if you attach a charger of 30 W or higher, your Mac will draw a maximum of 30 W.
