We will need more information in order to sort out what to do. I think you have to erase the drive and install the original version of the OS that came pre-installed from the factory. See if these articles help: What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac and Factory reset of your Mac. If you need more help, then when you reply, please include the model you have, .eg., Late 2014 MacBook Pro or Mid-2011 MacBook Pro. That will help me understand what you will need to do.

Please read Writing an effective Apple Support Communities question. We are here to help. We are all users. We are not mind-readers nor clairvoyants. We only know what you write down and tell us. Be specific and thorough. Try to write clearly. Think about what you want to say before you write it down, then re-read it to see if it makes sense. We need the following at a minimum:

  • What specific product model do you have? Avoid just saying, "iPhone or Mac," because that doesn't describe it uniquely.
  • Tell us the version of iOS or Mac OS that you have installed on your machine.
  • Provide a short but complete summary of your question, problem, or issue. (No complaints, please.)
  • Give us all the details of your question, problem, or issue. Make your descriptions clear and precise but don't be wordy. Like Joe Friday used to say, "Just the facts." Be sure you provide any other details that we should know.
  • Detail what you have tried, so far, to solve your problem even if it's "nothing."
  • Provide images/snapshots appropriate to your descriptions. Pictures are worth 1,000 words.

Note: If English is not your native language, please let us know. Perhaps you would be better served by posting in your native language. If you do, then understand that getting a reply may take more time. Most of the helpers are native English speakers but some of us are bi- or multi-lingual. Unfortunately, English is my only language. I am able to use translators if I know what your native language is. However, I will be slower in responding.

I have a New 13" MacBook Pro 2020. It came with macOS Catalina 10.15.5

I tried tens of times to update first to 10.15.6 and then 10.15.7 but always I receive error messages like those attached. I have also connected my Mac directly to internet (no WiFi) in order to improve speed and stability but always I get the same error messages. Have also dowloaded directly macOSUpdCombo10.15.6 and macOSUpdCombo10.15.7, always same message errors (here attached). I have Mac since the first model, aways worked with Apple Mac.

Please let me know how I can update my MacBook Pro.

I regularly backup my MacBook pro with Time Machine, I have critical and very important data in my Mac so I.m ready to clean my Mac and restart all from scratch (if it were the only way) BUT I want to be sure to be able to recover ALL my data and apps.

Thank you so much in advance for your reply and help.

Marcello
