Need to see the DATE on each text message, Not listed as "Monday" "Yesterday" etc

Hi, Is there a way to have every text conversation list the actual date and not have to wait a week for the date to show up? Right now it is as the days in the week go by, I start to see "yesterday" and then it will only say "Monday" "Tuesday" etc but doesn't list the calendar date. I need to be able to use screen shots as proof of acknowledgment for my work and I have to wait a week each time before I can take the screen shot. Any help is appreciated.

Hi jenz0117,

It sounds like you want to know if you can change how the dates are displayed in the Messages app, and we'd like to go over some information with you.

To answer your question, there isn't a setting that allows you to change the how the dates messages were sent/received are displayed. However, we definitely welcome you to submit your feedback about this. If you'd like to submit feedback, you can do that here: Product Feedback

In the meantime, you can find more information about using Messages on this page: Use Messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Take care!
