My apple watch Says iPhone needs updating but it’s updated
My Apple Watch won’t pair it says my phone needs updating but my phone is updated to the latest iOS
Define "latest iOS" Go to Settings > General > About and tell us which version is showing.

Yes they are iOS 14, iPadOS 14 and watchOS 7. You will need to update your iPhone first before trying to update your Watch.
It says it is up to date. I connected to itunes to check and see if it had a newer update, but it said the same thing.
is apple releasing a new update tomorrow?

Ask the seller if they know what version is on it.
Thats why you are a level 10, lol. I will try that. I asked if he had trouble pairing but he didnt reply to that.

I cant see what version it is, without pairing it.
do you know if there is anywhere to check the imei number to see if it is a 5.3.2?
its used, but it looks perfect, and I have like 32 hours to accept it or reject it,
that should give me enough time to install the iOS 14 and see if it works.

If your Watch is at 5.3.2 (I believe) you may have a problem updating. Call AppleCare.
