"iCloud Settings-Out-of-Date" on Windows 10 mail app

I am having a wrestling match with the Windows 10 mail app and iCloud mail. The mail app simply won't connect. My mom needs her emails on the PC as well as her Mac. (Everything works fine on the Mac.) Now she's having to sign into iCloud every time she needs her emails on Windows, and this is annoying because it takes a long time. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly received.

Hi Alice-Charlotte,

Thanks for the post. Being able to use iCloud mail is always important, and we'll be happy to see how we can assist. It sounds like you're seeing an alert about your settings when using iCloud mail.

To clarify, are you using Outlook specifically? This may help if so: Get help using Outlook with iCloud for Windows

Regarding your iCloud mail settings, this has some good information on Mail server settings for iCloud email clients.

Let us know if that helps.

Kind regards.
