iOS 13.7 upgrade coinciding with home button issues on iPhone 6s?
I accidentally upgraded to 13.7 too early (i.e., before all the bugs were fixed; I usually wait years to upgrade). My home button no longer functions as it should. This happened exactly and immediately after I did the accidental upgrade, so it would be a wild coincidence if it's just a coincidence.
I haven't figured out all the patterns (if any) yet, but here's what it does:
When the screen is dark/off, hitting the home button doesn't always wake it up. Eventually I've had to use the power button to wake it up (after hitting home button 12-40 times). That seems most times to be when I haven't used the phone in a while (several minutes). Note that I don't have the phone set to wake up when I jostle it. I also don't have it the home button set up with my fingerprint.
While using the phone, pressing the home button to exit an app doesn't always work.
Pressing the home button twice to bring up the apps in use so you can shut them down (the most useless and therefore annoying thing on this phone) doesn't always work. And then sometimes, pressing the home button only once brings up the open apps.
Desperately need a fix here, or I'm going to wear out my home button by pressing on it four times as much as I need to.
