Any idea how to get photos off 1st gen iPod touch?

I have 1st gen iPod touch with some old photos from when my kids were still babies. The pc that I had it synced to is long gone. Is there anyway to get these downloaded to my new laptop?

Photos from iPod nano 3rd gen to pc I have really valuable photos stored on my old iPod Nano 3rd generation but can’t find a way to transfer them to pc. how to retrieve photos from old ipod touch I have an old version of ipod touch, it doesnt have latest icloud/iphotos. But I still have photos in ipod touch, which i couldnt retrieve using itunes or any other way. It doesnt show in windows explorer, not sure how to retrieve it
