Hey since the update to ios 14 whenever i use haptic touch on an app or preview a txt message it makes a tick noise, anyway to turn this off?

Did you get a resolution to this problem? I just got an iPhone 12 and I can’t get the clicking noise to disable even with haptics turned off..
The bug is still present. But since Apple doesn’t communicate on it, it’s impossible to know if it’s a bug or a feature.
Agree - I consider it a bug as it seems non-responsive to various toggles or volume control and doesn’t seem to sound at all over headphones. Disappointing this isn’t being fixed.
done sending one bug report previously... until today still have not fixed in 14.3, anyone try with 14.4 RC?

Every 3,5’ minutes it drain 1% battery.1 hours 3G call it drain 18% battery..Thats redicilus.Wifi and daya off..Anyone please??
I can't find a way to turn this off either. It's driving me crazy -- I am going to have to return my new iphone 12 mini because of this one stupid issue, but I can't tolerate it. :(

Do you mean that all iPhone 12 have click sound from haptic, not software related?
I am planning to get my iPhone 12 returned to another unit because I think the problem lies with hardware.
Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Vibration (Turn off)
This will remove the sound and short vibration on long presses of an app icon, link and whatnot.
Unfortunately this didn't work at all on my phone :(

I can’t toggle, it only gives me the fast or slow option. So what does that mean/ what do I do? Thanks
