So basically I have this new iPhone 8 Plus and I am trying to get activate my iMessage and FaceTime I don’t have a number or a carrier yet but I know I can use it while on WiFi even though I plan on going to get a number put on it on Monday everytime I try to activate to it say error during activation and I checked my. WiFi and my storage and almost everything website have been telling me I even made a new Apple ID and it still doesn’t work please help me ☹️
Messages - If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime.
Some other things you can try. Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.
Try a restart.
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Try a forced restart.
If necessary
Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.
Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup.
Messages - If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime.
