Sigil will not open due to Catalina system preventions. Calibre will not download as the servers are always "busy". I want to add a cover to an ebook. It always shows as Apple generic book cover.

Calibre downloads perfectly well here. Maybe you should investigate that issue. For instance, try a different web browser.

I get only busy servers using Duck Duck Go in Safari, and simply using Safari? What are you using on what machine and what system software?
OK, reluctantly I downloaded Chrome and successfully downloaded Calibre. Thank you for your suggestion.
I'm using Safari and I just go to the Calibre website and download from there. I don't use a search engine to get it. My guess is that DDG is finding the wrong download site.
Anyone know of an osx ebook editor that works w Catalina?
