Turn App Library off?
Anyway to disable the app library in ios14?
I don’t want it, my apps are already organized on my Home Screen.

The App Library is a feature only there for users who wish to use it, sadly apple has no way to disable the App Library at the minute but until a feature like this is added you can not swipe over to that screen, to get back home screens that have disappeared go into jiggle mode by holding an app down and clicking edit home screen and click the dots at the bottom of your screen and check or uncheck the home screens that you want visible.

You are not answering the question. It is about turning off the Library App.
No, it doesn't answer the question. I was thanking someone for providing useful information. It's called politeness.
The answer to the question has already been given. There's no special need to keep repeating it.
When someone asks a question, and someone else questions it ("I don't understand why this is a big deal."), I would think it is toning the question down.
Anyway it was my first attempt to contribute to this Community, albeit awkwardly, but the Guardian of the Temple has stood guard. Enjoy your closed-in community.
Yes, please let us turn this off. It's redundant. My apps are already organized this way. I don't want another page to "accidentally" scroll to. I made it this way, I don't want extraneous, duplicative garbage.
Thanks a lot for your kind words :-) I need a thicker skin indeed :-)
After reading through the whole thread it is obvious that the Guardians of the Apple Temple will not let anyone disagree on their dogma.
I came here looking for help with an issue, and many others seem to have the come with the same issue as well. Initially there were some helpful suggestions (like the link to provide feedback to Apple) and then some of the responses became sarcastic and condescending, including those from you and Idris. Yes, I understand you’ve both been on these forums for years. And it’s clear that at some point you were probably even helpful. What’s also clear is that with this elevated level, you have developed an attitude since you’re now able to report others posts and get them taken down while new people posting (like me) just have to sit here and read your condescending remarks with no recourse. If you’re genuinely trying to be helpful, maybe try being a little less rude and providing facts rather than trying to make people feel bad about posting a question.
Oh, and for the record...if you read back through the responses, I’ve already stated that I followed the link provided to leave Apple feedback. So did several others. So your unhelpful comments are what caused this conversation to devolve to the level it did. Hopefully it helped you feel like you had a little more control over your life.
I have reported NO POSTS in this discussion. Zero, None, Zip, Nadda. If you've had a post removed, it is all on you and you must have violated the terms of use.
I'm sure you're likely a nice person. I'm NOT trying to be confrontational with you. And I'm not being condescending, even though you seem to think I am. If you feel I have been, it was never my intent, so I apologize if I gave you that impression.
Let's just leave this discussion as there is now no point to it.
"Turn App Library off?" I can't even turn off the notifications from this post. Lol. I've unfollowed several times, but it never stays unfollowed and I keep getting notifications saying somebody said something again.
Not complaining, just think it's funny. (Sorry for ALL of the people who are going to get an email telling you I said this now. Lol.)

Hahahha “tell apple” really? Are you new? Have you told something to apple and apple took action?
Apple makes changes based on large amounts of feedback all the time. Not generally with really big stuff but it could happen. The most recent one I can think if is that now, if you're on a call, text notifications don't go off in your ear. They're automatically muted. Or people asked for a way to disable the Siri suggestions in Share sheets. Or people asked for a the option to disable Memoji stickers. Done. Those are just the most recent ones I can think of.
But, if you believe making suggestions to Apple is useless, what does that make complaining here: less than useless.
And no, not new. I've been using Apple products since 1983.
What? Even if there were enough people that agreed with you on this issue your comments like this can’t be be heard here. The User your responding to has years of experience and can only help you attempt to get your issue resolved if you are serious about it. They certainly can answer technical questions. Being disrespectful will not assist you in getting your issue taken seriously.

Yes, very true. I don’t have many apps. I just choose not to use the page, as it is ar the end of our pages, I just ignore it for now.
I, on the other hand, seem to have downloaded half the App Store. Trying to figure out what folders to put them in was just annoying. I ended up with a lot of folders labeled "TBD". While I've submitted a few feature suggestions, for me, it works reasonable well.
Nice, I see it being useful and enjoy the esthetics but I would need Apps, :) I’ve used the Feedback link on several occasions for various reasons. It can’t hurt.
He asked for an option to turn it off. Not to disable the function all together. I find it pointless myself and would like to have the option to turn it off. It’s clutter to me. But if you and anybody else enjoy it then you’d just leave it on if the option was ever given. Everybody would be allowed to like or dislike it and still be happy.

When you buy Apple and own Apple Engineering, you can make the decision which features get included in iOS releases. Until then, just don't swipe that far and you'll never see the App Library.
All this angst over a feature NO ONE HAS TO USE is absurdly ridiculous.
Amen

WHY SHOULD I IGNORE something I think is intrusive after I paid over a grand for buying and using it?????
I should clarify here that I also said I ignore this feature. Works good for me. I see now you weren’t responding to my post. My general sentiment and points stand.

Because right now, if you dislike it, that's your only other choice. Of course, you can keep looking at it and keep getting agitated if that's something you enjoy doing.
Well that's a new one. The App Library does NOT use up your battery in any way. Go to Settings > Battery. Do you see App Library listed as using ANY power? Of course you don't.
It's OK to not love App Library. Just don't create fake issues which don't have anything to do with it.
