Turn App Library off?
Anyway to disable the app library in ios14?
I don’t want it, my apps are already organized on my Home Screen.

The App Library is a feature only there for users who wish to use it, sadly apple has no way to disable the App Library at the minute but until a feature like this is added you can not swipe over to that screen, to get back home screens that have disappeared go into jiggle mode by holding an app down and clicking edit home screen and click the dots at the bottom of your screen and check or uncheck the home screens that you want visible.
The App Library in and of itself uses nothing. If it makes you lose your patience, that's on you. You don't have to use it. But its certainly NOT running your battery down in the least. Again, fake complaint for a non-issue.
I was curious I wasn’t aware of that ability and I’m pretty privacy /security conscious. I too have all Siri suggestions off. Actually, along with Siri itself. Honestly, I download apps when I need to use them from purchased in App Store and delete when I’m not using them. It may sound like a pain but I don’t mind.
We are lucky in all those ways. An important reminder. To address a the technical aspect of your comment. I happen to like App Library. I use it as is, with stock apps. Thank you for the assistance you have offered me. It’s been appreciated. You’re an asset to the forum. I have learned quite a bit about my devices.
Apple never responds to the feedback sent through the feedback link.
BUT OMG regarding "suspicions regarding Apple's motives." It's an app library. It's not a diabolical effort to control anything in your life or your phone. It's simply a way they created to organize apps, WHICH NO ONE HAS TO SWIPE TO.
Same. It’s very frustrating having another page/screen with the same apps organized in an incoherent order. I only have one page with folders organizing my apps how I want them. It would be nice to disable the widget screen too and just combine it with the swipe down.

As soon as I get some time I am going to shop another type of phone. I am really disgusted with more than new library, sound issues, alarm clock. I am fed up!!!
You should always buy the tool that best meets your needs.
Not than any of us personally care, but I always suggest someone buy the phone that best meets their needs. Just understand the "other" manufacturers also introduce features you may be disgusted by. LOL
I really don’t like it; a kind of windows start screen at the end of my phone. I was not waiting for this functionality. And it loses the apple iphone touch I want. Please if Apple really want to stuck with this new (for me useless) functionality, add a switch button in the home screen setting to turn it off!!

Oh I loathe the App Library. It has no earthly use and is a complete annoyance! At least we should have the choice!
You are making an incorrect statement. You may not like it, but it does have an earthly use.
As it has been suggested over and over again in this thread, send Apple feedback and let them know that you would like a choice regarding the App Library.
Hate the App Library. Surprised Apple decided they know better than the user how their phone should be used. I have separate home screens for personal use, each of three different businesses, those I use as a pilot, and others. - Apples algorithms will never resolve the folders the way I need them set up. - truly hope they return flexibility to the user soon.
You can want to turn it off. Telling other users you want to turn it off is pointless. Apple isn't here. Apple isn't paying attention to the folks whining about the App Library. You don't like it? That's fine.
Tell Apple, not us.
Omg I thought I was the only one who hated this feature!! I want it off; I never complained about an apple update but I swear I left them a million over this one!! I put all my apps is alphabetical order and I have folders to my liking. The App Library is sooo useless!! It just looks like a hot freakin mess on the App Library page! Fix it and allow us to remove the stupid page!!

I’ve written to them in the correct form, so hopefully someone might listen. No point in it at all for me.
I fixed your post for you. It may not hold any value to you, but that doesn't mean it doesn't for others. There are several in my office who actually like and use the new App Library.
I basically like it. I’m not mad at it. I’ve already moved little used apps into it. If I didn’t like it. I would ignore it. The app folder I use most often , in all seriousness, is the delete ( otherwise known as purchases in App Store) folder. I don’t keep apps on my phone. I have two that keep a regular place.
I did too!!
and to all the ones who said this was pointless of complaints and how we should ignore it. My question is why didn’t you just ignore the thread and just move on! If you go to the original post it makes sense!!
