Heres the instructions for a hard restart.
this is the display for the same hours and time zones on widget...
So as my clock widget.
It happened when I upgraded to iOS 14 and now with 14.01 the bug is still occurs.
The time difference is varying and suddenly it could be correct without me touching it.
Its already turned on for a long-long time ago, and the dark side, I mean bug is still here.
I updated to 14.1 yesterday and haven't found this bug. I hope they fix this bug with 14.1.
I have the same thing. On the widget it shows 6:15 and if you see the original time on the top left it’s 6:45. There is a 30 minute different between them.
I have the same problem here. It seems that the widget is kind of freezing. The correct time is 15:41, the widget is 12:45.
Yes also hoping for a fix as a clock that’s not reliable is useless.
But don't you think it's just us?
Doesn't seem like everyone is affected by that issue, so maybe not the best premise for us.
Same issue since I updated to 14.2
Yes the clock widget goes freezes up all the ‘time’ (or incessantly [in a time independent fashion]) on my iPhone 11.
I faced the bug today. I’m using iso 14.4 in iphone 11 pro. Anyone know how to fix this..?
1, Restart your phone
2, Go to Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically to On.
The clock app pulls the time from Time.gov for the United States and various other sources for other countries. Its more likely that your iPhone time is out of sync
It would seem that the Clock widget does not run while the iPhone is locked. The widget gets suspended until the phone is unlocked again. I had both the app and the widget synched for as long as I left the display on. After locking the phone and coming back later, the time difference was the amount of time the iPhone was locked. At least this is my own personal observation.
Yes, I have to toggle 24-Hour Time off and on in the Settings app to get the clock going again. If I add another widget, it stops. Then when I toggle 24-Hour Time off and on in Settings app, it gets going again. Weird.
The time on the Status Bar is the correct time.
