With iOS 14.2 on my iPhone XS, it seems that time is always correct (which was not with earlier 14.x), BUT once the background switches to dark after sunset it does not switch back to white the morning after. Manually toggling the Date/time options 12/24 hrs or Manual/Automatic resets the correct daytime background.
Yes also hoping for a fix as a clock that’s not reliable is useless.
But don't you think it's just us?
Doesn't seem like everyone is affected by that issue, so maybe not the best premise for us.
Same issue since I updated to 14.2
Yes the clock widget goes freezes up all the ‘time’ (or incessantly [in a time independent fashion]) on my iPhone 11.
Widely reported problem since iOS 14 beta. And amazingly poor QA. Don’t bother with the dramatic solutions like hard reset or reset network setting. They are only temporary... it comes back.
Fixed for me with iOS 14.3
Restart your phone and it will be ok again. It is still not fixed with the current 14.4 version. If you notice the time difference it is a good reminder to turn your phone 'off and on again' 🤪
