Where is the “Up Next” widget in iOS 14?

What happened to the “Up Next” widget in iOS 14?!

This widget was utilized to see your next alarm and whatever calendar event or reminder was up next, regardless of how many days the reminder was scheduled in the future.

are you saying, there’s no way to have this with the new update !?

Yes, that's what people have been saying in the previous 9 pages.

You may want to look at third party widget apps to see if there's one that can replace some or all of the features. Also, third party calendar apps may have widgets that work better for you.

Exactly! Give us the option. Allow us to decide. That doesn’t seem like too much to ask.

I’ve been a devoted Apple user across all platforms for almost 10 years. But truly, the main thing that keeps me around is the stability of the hardware.

As for the software, each update (OS, iOS, etc) is for me a mix of frustration and apathy, mainly because of the removal of features I do use for the addition of features I never use. It wasn’t that way in my early Apple days. But things seemed to change after that notorious Pages overhaul.

So now there are 3 Siri commands in relation to alarms which may help people:
Next alarm shows the next alarm
All alarms shows all alarms with the slider to turn each on/off
Alarms on shows all alarms that are turned on, with the slider to turn each off

This does not actually show the Sleep/Wakeup Alarm which, for some reason, Apple classifies differently now. You have to specifically say "Show Sleep Alarm" or "Show Wakeup Alarm" in order to check that one. Don't ask me why it doesn't show with the other alarms since they are all "Alarms", but you have to call that one out separately.

I do not believe this has been suggested yet. I understand it is not the same, but there is a relatively simple way to check alarms. If you enable “Alarms” as part of the Control Center, then you can see all your alarms with a single swipe and a tap.

go to Settings > Control Center to enable the Alarm icon to be displayed.

This works for both iOS and iPadOS

<quote>For worst case, you can use Siri to show your next alarm if Apple not going to bring back the original Up Next widget 😉</quote>

But this doesn't show your Sleep Alarm. You have to ask Siri for it separately. Asking to "Show Next Alarm" only shows Clock Alarms. You have to do a separate request for "Show Sleep Alarm" to see it. And then you risk waking up your spouse by having to speak aloud to your phone when going to bed. "Up Next" was a quick, silent way to check all of your alarms with a single glance.
