Mobile data error after upgrading to iOS14

Hello

Yesterday I upgraded from 13.7 to 14 and now I can't connect use my mobile data. I have an iPhone XS Max and the option in the menu is greyed out, no way of getting into the mobile data menu. When I do, it simply says that I need an update.
