Finding Library folder off old harddrive

My iMac died and I had the service people pull the hard drive and put in a case so i can access files. I have that hard drive plugged into my new Mac. I want to access the Library folder that's normally hidden on that old drive, but it's not listed there, and going to the GO file menu and holding down the option key only reveals the hidden Library menu on the new computer system.

I hope that's not confusing. Anyone know what I'm talking about and can answer that?
