I updated my series 4 Apple Watch to WatchOS 7 today. I use my watch all day and usually have about 30% battery left when I go to bed and start changing. Today my phone got to 10% by 2:30 pm! Why is this drawing so quickly?
I had the same issue on my Apple Watch Series 4 after updating to iOS7. I tried shutting down background app refresh, and ensured sleep app and hand washing apps were off.
This didn't fix issue so I read on some other forums about repairing to your iPhone. So I did a reset on my watch. I restored using the same backup I just reset and today the problem seems to be gone. After a 2hour walk I have only went down 13% which is normal level. When I was running out of battery my watch was showing a 35% drop after my walk.
if restoring from the backup didn't work I was going to try setting up as new watch but obviously I didn't have to go that far.
Same thing here. My Series 4 watch dies within 3-4 hours after leaving the charger at 100%. Hoping this gets fixed soon.
Series 4. Same issue. Went from 30 hours of battery life to about 12-14. Only change is watchOS7.
Try to disable app background update.

Unpairing and repairing fixed the issue on my S4. Still slightly higher battery drain, but nothing compared to the disaster that it was after the initial update to os7...
I solved the problem on my series 5 by doing the following:

Did you choose the previous version while slechting the iCloud back up?
No you won't, you just gotta choose your backup and everything will be as it was before
24 hours ago, I impaired my series 5 watch from iPhone 11 plus pro then repaired. I have 56% battery. I think these actions corrected by battery drain issue.
Agree. Not as bad but still was better before 7.0 update.
Does anyone know if you unpair and repair watch, do you lose all music on watch? Do you have to import music again after process? My Series 5 is having same battery issue after upgrade.

Same with me too, I tried everything that's been suggested but nothing changed. Today watch is down to 39% in 4 hrs.
