watchOS 7 Battery Drain
I updated my series 4 Apple Watch to WatchOS 7 today. I use my watch all day and usually have about 30% battery left when I go to bed and start changing. Today my phone got to 10% by 2:30 pm! Why is this drawing so quickly?

Yeh this is down to Apple now, my watch is unpaired, off and in its box. Can’t deal with it...
Good work DaveH, keep us updated
Great, Apple engineers "become aware" of a problem we are complaining about since months now. Great job, Apple. Continue seeing, I am going to use now other devices, also sold my iPhone.
From my side it has nothing to do with workout ! Watch even draining with Bluetooth off and nothing running.
last 10-12h without using at all and without openin Screen !
so big big mess from Apple
macOS 10.15.7 Supplemental Update (19H15) was just released completing a trio of updates. My AW4 is getting slightly better battery life than the long term normal so far.
My watch is draining faster than before the update to fix the battery problem. It now only lasts 10-12 hours. Super frustrating! I will try unpairing/pairing.
Same. Mine is slightly worse than before the update.
Mine has always drained around 1 or 2% each hour. Right now I’m sat on 75% after roughly 14 hours of normal use. 8% seems really excessive
My AW4 is up to 14+ hours on a charge after the last update. I can live with that.
It is exactly the same behavior that I observed during the 7.1 beta tests.
It has been reported to Apple.
I’m not sure what’s happened, but two days after I posted that last message, my watch started behaving itself again. I’ve been wearing it for 2 hours now and it has 99% battery left. 🤔
Same here, I have a 3 series watch. Updated 2 days ago, and since then the watch barely lasts 3/4 of the day. Used to be at 50% by the evening and even last into the next day. What is happening?
If you are in the UK this would not be lawful and Apple remain liable if the watch is defective, i.e. not fit for purpose.
You need to push this. What they are telling you is b....cks. Tell them that UK law provides they remain liable. The defect has nothing to do with a scratch.
How the f you got 800 replies and I can’t even get one response on my simple question wow
