Hello, the Emergency bypass has stopped working on my iPhone, it’s an important feature to me as I am a firefighter and this is how I receive calls it allows me to put the phone on silent/sleep and still receive emergency messages. it’ stopped working on the last version so I have upgraded to version 14 but this is not rectified the problem. I also have an Apple Watch and wondering if that has caused the issue?
Unfortunately no - they have done nothing to fix the issue. I just keep my phone on loud when I know I am on call.

I am a pediatric health care provider and NEED the emergency bypass feature to work when I am on call. I got a new phone (iPhone 12 pro with operating system 14.2.1) and I have everything set up correctly but the emergency bypass feature is not working anymore. I re added the number to my address book and made sure emergency bypass was on under the phone’s ring tone. This is a huge problem. I absolutely NEED to be reachable to help these sick or injured children. Please respond ASAP

If we understand correctly, Emergency Bypass is not working anymore. Make sure you have this feature enabled in the contact you want to allow to Emergency Bypass.
Does Emergency Bypass work for other contacts?

I’m having the same issue on mine. Yes it’s set up correctly as I have been using it since it has been a feature. None of my emergency contacts go though with emergency bypass on. I also included them to favorites and set DND to allow calls from favorites.
It was also not working for me, but i discovered i had the same number in different contacts with different number formats (with and without international prefix, with and without spaces etc). After removing these numbers completely and adding 1 contact with 1 number it worked.

@juliaemergency - did you get your issue resolved? I'm having the same problem - but worse. I don't even get notifications from those listed in my emergency bypass; when my phone is not in do-not-disturb mode.
I did get it working by setting it up both ways via emergency contacts and via the actual contact themselves and then I just started working. It seems a bit flaky but I just kept setting it up and unsetting it and I just got it to work in the end

I am having the same issue. Emergent bypass is on for both text and phone calls but I do not get a notification. I have IOS 14.1 and iPhone 12
Emergency bypass is not longer an option in any of the ringtones or text tones in my contacts (IOS 14.2). How do I get it back?
