IOS14 troubleshoot

Hi there, just updated my iPhone X to IOS14 and been having some issues. First, I can't connect to my home wifi. Second, I can't send iMessages just texts. I already tried with the open Xfinity network but it won't work either. Anybody else having this same issue?

IPhone 14 Plus - internet and wifi issues Following transfer from previous iphone (11) I am having trouble with some apps accessing WIFI. For example Facebook works okay but Messenger has "No Internet Connection" although on Wifi. Also not able to send or receive imessages. I have reset my wifi, reset the Network settings on the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled apps and downloaded latest IOS version. Should I start again?

Go to settings>general>reset>and reset network settings.

I had some issues with gmail and kindle not wanting to use the wifi, but sorted that after toggling my wifi off, and using both on my data briefly.

may I suggest trying this?
