Bottom Row Dock Icons Reverse Order Themselves

I have an iPhone 7 Plus and after my update to iOS 14.0 my bottom dock icons (Phone, Mail, Safari, Music) reverse their order on their own so that they show (Music, Safari, Mail, Phone).

I've tried rearranging the order back to "normal" myself, but later I find the icons have been reversed again. I've also tried several reboots, but the issue persists even after rebooting.

I found this similar thread here with the same issue, but the thread was locked and I was prompted to start a new query.

Me too on iPhone 6S Plus. Thanks for the tip to rotate the phone. I was manually reordering them each time.

Exact same issue. Flipped last night, I manually rearranged to my original desired order. Checked my email, set my phone down. Picked it up five minutes later and BAM reversed again.

This worked for me!!! Thank you! I’ve manually switched them back only to have them revert soon after, probably bc I rotated it and they went back into order, which is now out of order! Lol
