Do I have to remove the SIM card from my Apple Watch with cellular when I sell it?

There is no physical SIM card in the Apple Watch. It is an eSIM (software defined SIM). It cannot be removed, but what you are doing can damage your Apple Watch.

Thanks, I had already referenced that, but I don't believe it addresses the sim card in a Watch with cellular.
There is no tray it is an eSim. Poke it with a paper clip and you will be poking a hole in the microphone. Not a good idea.

I thought I read instructions for removing the sim, by using a paper clip or similar in the hole under the crown to pop the tray open?
