I have gotten the "disabled, try again" screen several times as I was running with my iphone X in a running belt pocket. I am guessing my iPhone X screen is sensing something as a series of taps. Is there a way to "de-sensitize" the screen temporarily? I have the fall alert turned off.

I understand it's probably not the most convenient of solutions. You might just have to get used to adjusting your settings before and after a run. But waking your phone with these settings turned off should not be a problem. Disabling the features I mentioned does not change the fact that you can always just press the sleep/wake/power button to wake up your iPhone.

Hopefully this helps you enjoy your runs without disabling your iPhone!
