Apple Watch Series 6 Verizon Connection Issues

I picked up my new iWatch series 6 gps+cellular from the Apple store today and I cannot get it activated on Verizon! It says the model should be compatible, but we can’t figure out why we can’t add it. Is anyone else having this issue? Both Verizon and Apple are at a loss!

Same thing happened to me. Called Verizon and fortunate enough to talk to someone with information, she immediately knew that the IMEI needs to be added in their system so she put in a ticket for me to have that added and was asked to try again and activate cellular on Tuesday as it takes a couple of days. I just hope the next person follows through and adds my IMEI number.

I just bought an SE through Verizon and signed up for a new line and can’t get it activated.


so my question is, do I need to go through the pain of calling or are they going to eventually get this glitch fixed on their own?


super annoying that this is happening, and wish they would just recognize the problem and let people know they’re working on it.
