Apple Watch Series 6 Verizon Connection Issues

I picked up my new iWatch series 6 gps+cellular from the Apple store today and I cannot get it activated on Verizon! It says the model should be compatible, but we can’t figure out why we can’t add it. Is anyone else having this issue? Both Verizon and Apple are at a loss!

Same thing happened to me. Called Verizon and fortunate enough to talk to someone with information, she immediately knew that the IMEI needs to be added in their system so she put in a ticket for me to have that added and was asked to try again and activate cellular on Tuesday as it takes a couple of days. I just hope the next person follows through and adds my IMEI number.

I have the iWatch series 6 gps+cellular. I am replacing the iWatch series 3 gps+cellular. Having problems with Verizon like everyone else. However I noted the IMEI # is already on my account. It just won't connect when I am away from my cellular phone. I have literally spent over 8 hours trying to resolve. Tech at Verizon told me to unpair my new watch and pair the old one to see if it worked. I did that and the series 3 won't work either. It is a Verizon issue and needs to be resolved. I am going to have Verizon put in a ticket on Monday. Apple was not help either. Very frustrating!
