Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I just set up my Apple Watch Series 6. I see the bood oxygen app on the watch. It tells me to go to the watch app on my iPhone to set it up. I cannot find a setup for blood oxygen on my iPhone or in the watch app on my iPhone. Have I missed something or is there a problem getting this to show up?

I called support. They elevated this to have their engineers look at it. More than a few people are having the same problem. When I first set up my watch, the Blood Oxygen app and altimeter complication were there. The altimeter worked but the Blood Oxygen app didn't. I restarted the watch and they both disappeared. I can't find the Blood Oxygen app on the watch store on my watch. Using the watch app on my iPhone to look in the app store, it shows up but says it can only be loaded from the watch. Tried sending a link to the app from my phone to my watch using messages. The app appeared on my watch when I clicked the link. GET was grayed out and above it said, "You must have an iPhone." Another thing I noticed is that in watch settings, scrolling works once. When you enter a setting category, it stops working. I am also unable to get my mac to use my watch to unlock apps. It keeps telling me it can't find my watch.
Kyle290-it worked for me too! I downgraded my iPhone using online IPSW to 14.0 - and then did wipe and clean install of watch and everything works great! It’s been a pain having to update and re-log into all my apps, but worth it to have watch working perfectly!
The problem should have been already solved beta or not. Why would Apple release beta software that cripples the new watch feature that everyone wanted in the first place. A hot fix to the beta software should already be in place but I do see it.
You all are smart people and this should not be an issue for a new product release. It only shows this release was rushed and your programmers was not properly briefed when their beta software released.

The problem is fixed in the new beta and I don’t believe it was a problem to begin with if you stayed with the public release version of Watch OS 7. So I hope the moderator will close this topic. Not everything requires a lawsuit to be resolved.
I have the same problem, so I booked a call back from Apple today and was told that I was still running beta 14.2 on my phone and that is why I can not use the blood oxygen on my watch as beta won’t allow it. Have to wait for an update for a fix or downgrade your iPhone. Hope this helps.
So..that is not correct. I am running Beta 14.2 pn my iphone and after the last update last week I was finally able to install/enable the Blood Ox monitor. I am running Beta on my watch as well.
It is working fine.
I followed the advice from Andrews PC Systems to use iMagine software to change from ios 14.2 beta to ios 14.0.1. I used the option to download the GM straight from Apple, without the need to restore from a backup. Everything went perfectly and the oximeter on the watch now funtions. Many thanks to Andrews PC Systems.
Having the same issue (received watch 10/21/2020). The Blood Oxygen app appears on my apple watch series 6, but I cannot locate the app on my iPhone(11 Max) in the watch app. I’ve looked under respiratory in the health app as instructed but there is no setup for blood oxygen showing, only oxygen saturation data. Has anyone figured this one out?
I looked there under Respiratory and the setup was not there.

I tried removing all of my blood oxygen data. Still didn’t work. Apple is aware of this problem. I guess we’ll have to wait for an update.

hi i have a same then i deleted the app to re set it but then i can not find it anymore its so upset to get apple watch 6 then you have apple watch 5 !
No you are not going crazy. This is happening to me as well and I thought I was just “missing something” or going crazy as well. Arghhh.
