Typing lag in Notes app on iOS 14

Same thing! It lags in email, iMessage, notes, and when typing a link in safari — basically lags when I type!

Also, sometimes when I unlock the phone the lighting is extremely dark and I am not able to adjust it back to normal. I would have to sleep the screen then turn on again...and usually it works.

Is Apple going to do anything to fix this? Or is it going to take a class-action suit to get Apple to again fess up to designing software that purposely slows down older phone models? Please fix this, Apple.

SO true! My perfectly working phone all of a sudden becomes out of memory or lags or acting strangely right about the time a new model comes out. I loved my 5S and never had issue until the 6 came out.

This has been going on a long time. With the amount of reports you thought it would of been fixed with the last update. Does any Apples support people even read these threads. SMDH who cares about 100 new emojis

I applied the fix of shutdown to reset keyboard dictionary but problem re-appeared. Is there a permanent fix? Also anyone know if it has to do with additional keyboard use. Possibly one grabbing your keystrokes?

This is complete ********. Fix this issue Apple. Absolutely unacceptable to have something like this happen at this point in iPhone development and iOS 14. What kind of Busch league crap is this?

The dictionary reset doesn’t fix it. Maybe the iOS 14.2.44.123.87.2233 update will.

I have a iPhone Xs Max (128MB) and I've figured out ... you just need to buy a new phone ... and everything is solved. So, this is Apple telling you that your phone is obsolete because we need to drive top-line revenue.

I’m facing similar issues with my XS too. There’s a very slight stutter. I use Notes a lot.

On my IPAD 7th Gen, typing with the folio keyboard in Notes gets laggy frequently.

I have the same problem, I'm using XR. Could it be the storage, but I still have 4GB available.

yh my notes r saved in icloud so i could access them on mltiple devices n not lose em. culd it be an icloud issue?
