How do I connect to Apple TV on my Mac from Apple TV box

If I import a movie into the Apple TV on my iMac how do I connect my Apple TV that's connected to the television?

if you enabled media sharing on your mac then you should be able to access the shared media if it's in a supported format from the appletv by clicking the computer icon

it's the orange one that looks like a laptop
